Annie  was born and brought up in Kent, South East England. She studied at the Chelsea College of Art in London and also has a background in Social work, Teaching, Counselling and Mediation.

She has lectured at both Brunel and St Mary’s universities in London as part of the B. Ed and PGCE  learning support modules, encouraging and enabling students to blossom with

their creative ideas

Having always valued the therapeutic powers of painting Annie often used art as therapy when working with emotionally disturbed children.   

Moving permanently to Javea 4 years ago, Annie has subsequently thrown herself into painting taking inspiration from the stunning surroundings and magical light there. She paints in her studio overlooking a lush Mediterranean garden which surrounds her villa “Montgo-Retreat” and also runs workshops for small groups of budding artists giving inspiration and guidance.  

Annie paints for enjoyment as well as creating new works for sale and is happy to take commissions. Her main focus in accepting a commission is listening to her client, understanding their personality and reflecting this through the use of color and texture for their individual work of art.
